The National Museum of Industrial History is hosting an industrial photography exhibition in celebration of Lehigh Valley Photography month in November. The exhibit will showcase photographic-based art that focuses on industry across the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Images do not have to be taken in the Lehigh Valley or focus on Bethlehem Steel! Be creative – industry can be anything from shipbuilding to manufacturing to welding. Submissions are $10 for three images. You will be taken to the payment page following your submission. All photos must be framed and ready to hang, or if using an alternative method like metal prints, have backings for hanging. All photos will be judged by a panel of NMIH staff.
Submission open: September 29
Deadline: October 20
Notifications of acceptance: October 23
Artwork drop-off deadline: October 31
Images will be on display beginning November 3rd to coincide with the beginning of Artsquest’s Invision Photo Festival and run through the end of the month.
