The Story of Radio: Invention, Innovation, and Incorporation

Saturday, February 16th at 2pm
Join “Don’t Touch That Dial” guest curator Donna Acerra as she traces radio‘s history from theory to application to national treasure, and “meet” the key individuals who made it so.

Donna Acerra has been a listener all her life, starting with the dits and dahs of Morse code in her dad’s “ham “radio shack. Her love of radio started with an appreciation for the technology and as her collection grew, so did her desire to understand radio’s cultural impact. She is currently a Professor of Communication at Northampton Community College.
